Vocal innovators, Sashird Lao (France) are an exotic trio of vocalist, instrumentalist, percussionist improvisers who were finalists in the National Jazz Music Competition (Paris) and 2007 winners of the Jury's Prize at the International Jazz Festival of Juan Les Pins. With phenomenal artistry and originality, Sashird Lao flirt with a breathtaking melange of jazz, world, soul, African and urban grooves, layering voices, horns, percussion and loops. Also featuring Australia's own internationally award-winning vocal/percussion quintet Coco's Lunch (2007 Double ARIA nominees) performing songs from their acclaimed album Blueprint, and local choir Living Out Loud (directed by Sue Johnson).
